唐代诗人王维的诗词通过对自然景色的描写，传递出淡泊名利、向往田园生活的情怀。在《渭川田家》一诗中，描绘了一个恬静、悠然的生活场景：“斜阳照墟落，穷巷牛羊归。野老念牧童，倚杖候荆扉。”这几句诗不仅仅描绘出夕阳映照在村庄上，牛羊沿着小巷回家，老人拄着拐杖在门口等候牧童归来的场景，也展现高居官位的王维内心的一种宁静、祥和的生活态度。
